OSI Optoelectronics AS have produced a long range of high precision custom designed Opto hybrids and RF hybrids.
Automated high precision epoxy dispensing, die assembly and bonding machines as well as high precision position measuring and electro optical instrumentatioin enable us to supply high quality and reliable products within low tolerances.

We have a broad and modern park of testing, qualification and screening equipment.

To ensure that our products stays within the tolerances we have an automated SPC (Statistical Process Control) system for early warning when parameter trends slide too close to the specification limits.
This system also handle component tracing, test parameter yield, process step yield and total product yield in addition to handling test result reporting.

The Opto Hybrids combine photodetector chip(s) with amplifier chip(s) and other electronic functions in the same package.

By having a signal amplified and processed as close to the detector as possible, the effects of noise picked by the pins, wire leads, and other PCB conductor traces can be minimized. This is in addition to saving a lot of space on your board or any other substrate, increased reliability and simplified logistics.

The Opto Hybrid may include AR coated windows, lenses, filters etc.
